Mockingbird florist in Dallas Purchases directly from growers and brokers all over the world. This allows us to bring you the freshest flowers for Delivery in Dallas and the best value. Our selection of flower varieties is one of the largest in Dallas. Our website displays all of our own design teams' custom work.

Shipping- We ship twice a week from California and Miami (where flowers arrive worldwide.) Flowers are shipped from California and Miami by refrigerated trucks with strict temperature control to ensure freshness, and longevity, and help eliminate diseases.

California -shipments include Lilies, Roses, Spray roses, Snapdragons, Protea, Larkspur, Ranunculus, Scabiosa, Delphinium, Dahlias, Veronica, Tweedia, Limonium, Curly willow, assorted greenery, and available seasonal flowers.

International Brokers- Provide South America- Roses, spray Roses, Garden Roses, Hydrangea, Larkspur, Lilies Ranunculus, Lilies, and other seasonal varieties.

Holland- we ship Tulips, Kale, Peonies, Blooming Branches, other varieties
Canada - Roses, Tulips, Peonies, and Ranunculus.

Mockingbird Florist provides one of the largest selection of quality roses and colors. Our varieties of standing orders available for delivery in Dallas weekly include 11 colors of hybrid tea roses, 4 colors of garden roses, and 6 colors of spray roses. We have weekly shipments of specially ordered Rose varieties for Events and Weddings.

About Flower Processing Design and Delivery.

Many varieties of flowers have to be processed differently to ensure freshness and longevity for our flower delivery in Dallas

Processing - Flowers will first have foliage stripped above the water storage line, cut at an angle, and then placed in a sustaining solution to keep fresh. Our Roses are properly hydrated by first cutting stems under water, placing them in a hydration solution, and storing them in a floral preservative. After designing, we pour out the water to remove any dirt that will cause bacteria and replace it with water and floral preservatives. Then all or our arrangements are sprayed with a finishing spray preservative for the longest-lasting roses

About Our Flower Design Process -

Flower longevity depends not only on shipping, arrival, processing, and flower delivery but it is about the design as well. Our flowers are designed in vases that have been taped. At the end of our design process and before delivery each design will have the old water removed along with any dirt or foreign material and refilled with water and hydration solution that will help slow bacterial growth in the water. The arrangements are then sprayed with another hydration solution. Flowers that are left in dirty water will not last as long as flowers in fresh water. We suggest changing water every 2 days if possible for longevity. Following our process and changing water roses should last up to 10 after flower delivery. Hydrangea can be one of the longest-lasting flowers, but they like 75% of there stem in water. Vases must be kept to the top each day for longevity after flower delivery.
